Poems
Pain in a Basement
Overtaken
Remember when we’d try to help and not be so pathetic?
“Thanks kid, but you’re in the way.”
That’s what they would always say.
I was down and out
With no place left to go
Looking for redemption
Unable to draw in air
Nothing much to cry about
I felt so pathetic and low
Drowning in desperation
Then you were there

You taught me how to hate
You taught me how to fight
You taught me everything
Taught me to brave the night
Taught me to stand the pain
And how to make it right
You taught me everything
You taught me every day and night

Thirteen wonderful months together
No more dread, no reason to mourn
Then you left me in my glass coffin
Buried under lies
Stupid to think it would last forever
Now I’m stronger, and I feel reborn
Every now and again I find myself missing
Then the missing dies
Elemental Nonsense
Woke Up from a Dream
Little Boy
Man-Made Monster
THE GOTH
Another time in space
A long lost child's home
Departed from thee
Too long to see
That everyone's alone

And when the ghosts are gone
When the world will crack and shake
How will you know
Which way to go
Or when to accept heartbrake

Find inside where hatred grows
Where a hand still makes a fist
Strike in need
Till you open and bleed
And wonder how you missed
